Dear Friends of TFO,

After much prayer and consideration, Ten for Orphans is announcing a change in our policies. Going forward, we will only be supporting the following organizations: Project HOPEFUL http://www.projecthopeful.org, Life2Orphans http://www.life2orphans.org, and Grace Haven Ministries http://www.gracehavenhome.com There may be other organizations that we will be able to support in the future, but these three are the only ones at present.

Additionally, for those who did not already see this announcement on June 12th, due to several considerations, we feel it would be prudent to move from a position of sponsoring orphans only to sponsoring families who are in the process of adopting a child with special needs. If a family would like us to consider them for sponsorship, they must have a fund and page set up with at least one of the three organizations listed above. Again, it is possible that we may include other organizations in the future. A family can have a fund set up with multiple organizations. Families who do not have a fund with any of the above listed organizations, can contact us for more information on this process.  We will be glad to help facilitate setting up a new fund.

Up until recently, our site had a monthly donation button on our donation page for those who wanted to set up an automatic payment for our monthly sponsored orphan. Unfortunately, at this time, since we are broadening the number or organizations we support, and it may not be the same organization each month, we are not able to offer an automatic monthly donation option. If you have already set up an automatic payment every month, it is up to your discretion if you decide to continue making monthly donations through it or not. For any ongoing monthly donations that may remain in effect after this announcement, we will do our best to direct which orphan those funds will be designated for. Donations in the near future have been directed to our newest sponsored orphan, who we will announce tomorrow. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience these changes may cause you. Thank you for any support you have provided to orphans and their families through the Ten for Orphans project during the last few months! Our purpose from the beginning has been to assist in the rescue of orphans, and that purpose remains the same today. We are excited about the future and look forward to helping many more families bring their children home! We hope that you will join us in this endeavor and continue to be a part of the TFO Project!
